Customer Satisfaction Consent Policy

With each customer we serve, we set the standard for superior service. We are the eyes, ears and voice of L.L.Bean.

To ensure we continually focus on and improve service to our customers, the company will monitor customer communications (telephone and electronic communications) with employees.

  • We listen via a remote telephone to a selection of customer calls between customers and employees.
  • We do not intend to monitor personal calls. Our policy prohibits making or receiving personal calls from production workstations.  
  • We review printed texts of electronic communications between customers and representatives. (i.e. emails and chats)
  • The information we obtain from monitoring will be used for skill development and performance feedback.
